FACS Research Project Understanding the subtleties of a human face and producing hyperrealistic portraits have always piqued my curiosity. I became interested in portraiture after seeing Kris Costa's work and being in awe of it. I was motivated by him to begin working on my first portrait of Keanu Reeves. Even though it turned out awful, I was still rather pleased with my development at the time and continued honing the abilities that have brought me to this point. Even though I still have a lot to work on, I'm rather pleased with my development. That was a little introduction to me, now let's go on to FACS. VR (POTTER PROJECT) - WEEK 01

VR HANDS BASEMESH As a character artist, I was responsible for creating Dumbledore hands that would be used as our VR hands. I used Autodesk Maya for creating basemesh for the hands. I tried to get as close as I could to realism in the given time. My aim was to get as many forms as possible in maya itself which would make my life in ZBrush a bit easier . My next week's plan for the hands is to finally take this into ZBrush and start sculpting on it. Getting references made things a lot simpler as it helped me to get my forms much more realistic and accurate.
